In 1990, as one of the first fish farms in West Germany, we imported live sturgeon from the former Soviet Union.

Today we produce fertilized sturgeon eggs and sent this worldwide by air freight.
As one of the few sturgeon farms, we specialized in reproduction of sturgeons.

We have seven different species of sturgeon in our hatchery. Sturgeons are under species protection, we work under strict templates with the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation and the responsible regional council.

An export abroad is only subject to accordance with the applicable CITES conditions.
